Mountain View, Mo., community rallying support for tornado victims
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Mo. (KY3) - Two days following a tornado in Howell County, the community is coming together to help those affected by the storms. The National Weather Service said Sunday evening’s storms produced an EF-3 tornado near Mountain View that was on the ground for over six miles, with winds reaching up to 138 miles per hour. Though the storm didn’t cause any casualties, one man sustained serious injuries and is in a Springfield hospital.
