SW 66th Street bridge demolition continues on Sept. 21. I-75 affected.
The Florida Department of Transportation says northbound traffic along a portion of Interstate 75 will be temporarily interrupted due to the Southwest 66th Street bridge demolition. Officials said the work will take place Sept. 21-24 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. If the work is not completed, crews will return on Sept. 27. Traffic will be reduced from three lanes to one approaching the bridge. FDOT asks motorists to cut their speed to 60 mph. Concrete dividers will guide drivers through the work zone. Southbound traffic will not be affected, and all lanes will be opened during the daytime, officials said.
