This Tiny Florida Town Is Winning Over Retirees Who Want History, Nature, And A Slower Pace
Retirement planning tends to steer everyone toward the same handful of Florida destinations, the ones with the golf courses and the gated communities. Those price tags have a habit of making you quietly recalculate how many more years you probably need to keep working. What that conversation rarely includes is...

The Developer keeps taking away from us and building more down south
We are residents of Palo Alto and live close to Tierra Del Sol. We think it is a travesty that it closed. First the playhouse closed and now the restaurant. The Developer keeps taking away from us and building more down south. Since it is such a big building, why not make it like a Sawgrass and Ednas’ on the Green. I agree the golfers have no place to go not only from Tierra del sol but also Hacienda and De La Vista. What is worse is the Developer looking at closing both country clubs and making apartments and/or villas. Talk about a mess if they do that. But nothing surprises me when it comes to them. It’s all about the money.
