Picture This: Crash at Eight and Avery in Parkersburg
PARKERSBURG — Emergency officials responded to a two-vehicle crash at Eighth and Avery streets at 3:22 p.m. Thursday. A gray Jeep turned over, trapping someone inside. Parkersburg Fire Department personnel were able to free the individual. WVU Medicine Camden Clark medics took them to the hospital for injury assessment. Alcohol suspected in crash that killed Whipple man
MARIETTA — A Whipple man died Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle crash in which alcohol is suspected, according to the Marietta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The post is investigating the crash, which was reported around 3:59 a.m. Tuesday in Washington County on County Road 15 (Germantown Road) near where it intersects with Salem Township Road 127 (Tick Ridge Road), according to a release from the patrol.
