PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Some showers and gusty winds pushed through the Mid-Ohio Valley last night ahead of a cold front. That has now passed through and kicked out any shower activity for the morning commute. Roads are drying out but will be a bit damp as the sun rises this morning. Cloud cover will be ample this morning but will diminish to partly cloudy skies before the lunchtime hour and continue into the afternoon. Temperatures will be on the mild side to start with 50s across the region, but with the cold front passing by, we will not warm up that much this afternoon. Daytime highs will only be in the mid-60s, a bit cooler than yesterday afternoon. Winds will be on the lighter side today with a northwest wind of around 5 to 10 mph.
