A man is in critical donation after he was hit by a train on the South Side Friday afternoon. Pittsburgh Police say it happened around 12:40 p.m. on the train tracks at 9th Street behind Mercy Behavioral Health.
Woman missing from western Pa. was killed in Dauphin County: police
A missing 54-year-old woman who was last seen in Dauphin County is believed to have died in a homicide, police announced Friday. Susquehanna Township Police said they are investigating the disappearance of Tracy Scanlon, of Allegheny County, who was last seen in late February 2024 leaving a Dauphin County wine and liquor store. She has not been in contact with family or friends since that time, police said.
