    Victim identified in deadly Wilkes-Barre stabbing

    WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Luzerne County Coroner has released the identity of the victim killed in a Wilkes-Barre stabbing .

    Luzerne County Coroner Jill Matthews identified the man killed as a result of a stabbing in Wilkes-Barre Tuesday as 33-year-old Scott Knox.

    Knox was stabbed multiple times in the 300 block of South River Street around 3:30 a.m., investigators stated. Knox was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley for his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

    Man accused of road rage threats with gun, assaulting pregnant woman

    Matthews reports that Knox’s death has been ruled a homicide.

    This is an active investigation. So far, there has been no word on any suspects.
