All ‘Fore’ Books Mini Golf Classic in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — You picked a bad day to go out golfing, unless, of course, the golfing was indoors.

That was the case at the Osterhout Free Library in Wilkes-Barre Sunday for a very fun fundraiser.

All ‘Fore’ Books Mini Golf Classic featured 18 unique holes set up around the library.

The Osterhout partners with the Rotary Club of Wilkes-Barre to hold the mini-golf event.

Funds raised support children’s programs and early literacy outreach at the library.

“The library has to do a lot of fundraising initiatives throughout the year. I think this is a very unique event. It is a family-friendly kids event,” Osterhout Free Library Director of Development and Community Relations Michelle Riley said.

This marked the fifth annual indoor mini-golf fundraiser at the library in Wilkes-Barre.
