    Bishop Carroll seniors collect $1,300 for St. Jude’s

    CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Seniors at the Bishop Carroll Catholic High School came together to take part in a project and ended up raising money for a children’s hospital.

    Seniors in the economic class were required as part of a project to create a company, conduct market research, product design, sales, and distribution. Together they were able to raise $1,300 for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital .

    Penn Highlands adds food pantry to Richland Campus

    Their teacher, Mr. Jonathan Nagy, said he was extremely proud of the work his students put in.

    “These students were very determined to make this project work.  Their passion for this charity and this project is very commendable.  They demonstrated what it means to be a Bishop Carroll student through their hard work, and I am honored to have been with them through this process.”

    St. Jude is working to treat kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases while focusing on cutting-edge research to help them understand pediatric cancer and how to treat it, according to their website .
