WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — The skies have produced much more than trace amounts of rain across Texoma Saturday as showers and thunderstorms have continued to pour over the area.

Though the storms will mostly end Saturday night, a few showers will still be possible into the early morning hours.

Runoff from the storms, however, can still pose a problem for low-lying areas with potential flooding.

Cloudy skies will persist through Saturday night, with overnight lows in the mid- to upper 40s.

Though the clouds will gradually clear on Sunday, northerly winds will help keep temperatures cooler, with highs in the low- to mid-60s.

Sunshine will be plentiful early on as we head into the week.

However, clouds will gradually increase throughout the week, with an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms, some of which may be severe by mid-to-late week.

Both high and low temperatures will also be on the rise this coming week.
