WFPD’s upcoming Citizens Riding Academy postponed due to weather

WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — The upcoming Citizens Riding Academy, hosted by the Wichita Falls Police Department, has been postponed due to weather concerns.

The Citizens Riding Academy, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 20, has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Learn to ride like the professionals for free at the second annual class at Colonial Church, 4300 Maplewood Drive.

Interested participants must have a Class M Driver’s License, a motorcycle, riding gear, including a helmet, and no convictions or pending charges for any Class B misdemeanor or higher.

Note that applicants may be subject to a background check.
