456-unit luxury development outside Ann Arbor set to welcome first residents
WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI - A new development bringing more than 450 housing units to the Jackson Road corridor just outside Ann Arbor is preparing to welcome its first tenants. Builders are putting the finishing touches on new rental homes, townhomes and apartments at Woodview Commons, the 90-acre project south of Jackson Road at Baker Road in Scio Township. The first residents are expected to occupy units in July, developers said in a statement, describing it as a “unique mixed-use development.”

Sale of vacant $1,000 residential lots moving forward in Ypsilanti
YPSILANTI, MI – The sale of two residential lots on Ypsilanti’s south side that ended up in the city’s hands through tax foreclosure is moving forward. The city acquired the lots, at 756 and 856 Harriet Street, after taxes weren’t paid and the Washtenaw County Treasurer’s Office in 2022 put them up for auction without successful bidders. Left behind were unfinished foundations leftover from residential home projects. The city demolished the structures and put the two properties up for sale in February.
