1 dead after carjacking in Indianapolis
One person is dead after a carjacking on the city’s near east side. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a carjacking was reported around 2:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of English Avenue — near Rural Street and Southeastern Avenue.
IMPD: Man found dead with trauma at northwest side gas station; homicide investigation underway
INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD homicide detectives are investigating after a person was found dead with traumatic injuries at a northwest Indianapolis gas station Saturday night. Around 9 p.m. April 27, officers responded to the 3800 block of North High School Road, near West 38th Street, for a report of a person down. They located a man with "injuries consistent with trauma" in the parking lot of a gas station, outside of a car, police said.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing Friday night on the southside of Indianapolis. Indianapolis police were dispatched to the 200 block of E. Fishers Target theft, car chase ends with arrests
Two Indianapolis residents and a Cicero resident face criminal charges connected to an April 26 theft at the Fishers Target store that involved a vehicle chase. According to an April 29 announcement from the Fishers Police Department, officers received a report at around noon April 26 of a theft in progress at the Target store on Commercial Drive near downtown Fishers.
