Four injured in Hwy. 10 wrong-way crash

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday on Hwy. 10 in Weyauwega, after a wrong-way driver collided head on with a westbound vehicle.

The crash was reported at about 8 p.m. March 25. All three occupants in an eastbound vehicle and one occupant in the westbound vehicle were transported to hospitals for treatment. The severity of their injuries is unclear.

The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was arrested on suspicion of operating while under the influence and causing injury, second-degree recklessly endangering safety and operating without a valid driver’s license, causing injury, officials said.

No names have been released. The crash remains under investigation.
