    Wewahitchka’s Cox wins gold at 1A State meet

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WMBB) – Wewahitchka High School sophomore, Bailey Cox took home the gold medal in javelin at the FHSAA Track and Field State Championships in Jacksonville on Wednesday.

    Cox’s first-place throw was 53.41M (175’2″). He became the first state champion in the javelin event in school history.
