    Berlin Turnpike in Wethersfield reopens after motorcycle crash

    WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A motorcycle crash shut down a section of the Berlin Turnpike at Pawtucket Street in Wethersfield Sunday morning, according to police.

    At around 6:30 a.m., Wethersfield police officers responded to the area of 1750 Berlin Turnpike for a crash involving a motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, police said.

    The area reopened just before 10 a.m.
