New Jersey man accused of trying to scam senior citizen. A New Jersey man is facing charges for allegedly trying to scam a Colonie resident out of $40,000. Dhruv P. Patel, 33, of Franklin Park, is accused of posing as a member of the Federal Trade Commission in a phone call.
