PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — An 18-year-old man appeared in court for his connection to a second shooting that occurred in April: this time deadly. Peoria County prosecutors charged Korion Hopkins, 18, with first-degree murder, a Class M felony, in connection to the April shooting death of 18-year-old Mike’Quese Taylor.
