West Memphis woman wins $390,000 in Natural State Jackpot lottery

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An Arkansan had a profitable Sunday after scoring a win in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery announced Thursday that S. Marshall from West Memphis won $390,000 in the Natural State Lottery on Sunday. The woman told lottery officials that she entered the game using her son’s birthdate to choose numbers using the Jackpocket app.

This was the first Sunday winner of the Natural State Lottery, officials said.

The Natural State Jackpot is an Arkansas-exclusive game. Drawings are held daily at 8 p.m. and the five-number tickets are $1.

The Natural State Jackpot is currently $75,000, according to MyArkansasLottery.com . The jackpot amount will increase by $5,000 if there is no winner for Thursday’s drawing.
