LONG BRANCH, NJ - Mark your calendars! The City has released their list of artists performing in the 2024 Concert Series. The summer will once again see the return of favorites: Bands by the Beach, Tuesdays on Broadway, and Thursdays by the Sea! The series kicks off on Sunday, July 9th at West End Park with the Philadelphia Funk Authority. Dates have also been released for several other summer events throughout the City including: OceanFest, Art in the Park, National Night Out, the Long Branch Jazz and Blues festival, and many more! Asbury Park Hosts Educational Walk to Farmers' Market for SNAP and WIC Beneficiaries
ASBURY PARK, NJ - Asbury Park's Mayor’s Wellness Committee is calling all residents to join an educational outing on Sunday, June 9th, to the Asbury Fresh Farmers' Market. Participants will learn how to effectively use their SNAP, WIC, and Senior Farmers’ Market benefits, with a special opportunity to double their SNAP dollars. The event will kick off at 11:30 AM at the Boston Way Apartments playground, located at 1100 Boston Way. The guided walk will cover half a mile to the bustling farmers' market at Lake Avenue and Emory Street, where attendees can meet directly with farmers and vendors, exploring a variety of fresh, affordable organic produce sourced from New Jersey. On Monday, all Township and other government offices will be closed in observance of the Holiday. There will be no trash pickup on Monday: Monday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday. Tuesday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday. There will be no bulk collection this week.
