The music scene in the Hudson Valley has always been alive and well thanks to historic venues like Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and Saratoga Performing Arts Center. This summer, the Bearsville Theater rejoins them with a sizzling lineup of world-class performers in Woodstock. The reopening of the theater comes after Dayglo Presents, a leading live entertainment and media company founded by independent concert promoter Peter Shapiro, announced on April 25 that it has taken over operations of the storied venue.

Red Lobster files for bankruptcy after closing 8 restaurants in Upstate NY
Red Lobster has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection a week after closing dozens of restaurants nationwide. In a court filing late Sunday, the seafood chain said it has more than 100,000 creditors and estimated assets between $1 billion and $10 billion. The company’s estimated liabilities are between $1 billion and $10 billion, according to the Associated Press.
