The students surpassed Superintendent Dr. Craig Witherspoon’s Book Club Challenge by reading for 6,010,907 minutes. Coroner called to scene of early morning fire in St. Andrews community
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — The coroner has joined the investigation of a fire that burned a St. Andrews area home on Thursday morning. Columbia-Richland Fire and Irmo Fire District responded to Dunmore Court off Kay Street and St. Andrews Road around 2 a.m. Fire officials said crews saw flames while heading to the scene. Upon arrival, crews said they found a duplex burning on one side of the second floor and through the roof.
