Haledon Man Charged in "Road Rage" Incident
HALEDON, NJ - A man suspected of brandishing a firearm and threatening another driver during a road rage incident has been apprehended, police said. The Haledon Police Department apprehended the suspect involved in the recent road rage incident that occurred on April 22, 2024. Police said the incident took place at the intersection of Mangold Street and Belmont Avenue.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER On the day of the incident, Sergeant George Kelly and Officer Rubel Jimenez responded to the male victim's complaint and an investigation was launched by the Haledon Police Investigative and Special Services Bureau. Following thorough investigative work by Haledon Police Detectives, the suspect was identified as Jonathon Sisco, 24, of Haledon. On April 24, Haledon Police Detectives located Sisco and placed him under arrest. The firearm used in the road rage incident was recovered. Charged with multiple offenses including Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, Possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and Unlawful possession of a weapon, Sisco was taken into custody and transported to the Passaic County Jail. Police: Lowe’s cashier, contractor, stole over $4.9k in goods from Bayonne store
A Lowe’s cashier and a contractor who frequented the Bayonne home good store stole $4,908.03 in goods over the course of 15 separate thefts, police said. Shereen Waly, 48, of Bayonne, and Emad Shehata, 41, of Jersey City, were both charged with theft and conspiracy, according to Police Capt. Eric Amato.
