Polluted creek threatens Huron drinking water source
DOLAND, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A state agricultural investigator has confirmed the result of the testing of Fosters Creek in Spink County. A polluted creek is affecting neighbors and there is concern that it also might be flowing into Lake Byron. A fourth-generation Spink County family lives near a hog farm operated by Hillside Colony, which Foster Creek runs right through near the farmhouse. Cindy Hall said the situation has elevated over the past several years.
