WELLESLEY The heck with market price, get yourself a lobster roll!

And at Captain Marden's Seafoods on Linden Street, fresh lobster rolls are cooked inside a food truck in the restaurant parking lot.

"We're a family business, and we've been in the community since 1945," said owner Roy Marden, whose grandfather, Keith Marden, opened the Wellesley restaurant location in 1960. "We know what makes fish fresh and we have really strong relationships and a lot of long-term employees to set a standard for high-quality seafood."

Master Mariner Capt. Roy Marden, Keith's father, opened the original Marden's in 1945 in West Newton. Keith expanded the business to Wellesley 15 years later, first on Forest Street and then to its present home on Linden Street a decade later.
