Section of roads near Nampa Public Library to be restricted or closed from Wednesday through Sunday
NAMPA — Check out those detours in downtown Nampa, because from Wednesday through Sunday, drivers will need to either be patient, or know the back way to get around 11th Avenue South in the blocks near Nampa Public Library. On 11th Avenue South, just south of 3rd Street South, drivers will have no access, according to a city of Nampa news release. On 11th Avenue South, north of 3rd Street South, there will be single lane use only. That single lane use only continues to the intersection with 1st Street South. The city’s detours go east between the intersection at 9th Avenue South and 3rd Street South, to 12th Avenue South, where drivers can head north, or continue east on 3rd Street South or east from the intersection at 9th Avenue South and 3rd Street South to 10th Avenue South, where they can turn south toward 4th Street South before heading east.
