Iowa brothers arrested after their father is found dead in a ditch
FORT DODGE, Iowa (TCD) -- Two brothers are in custody after their father was found dead in a ditch in a rural area last week. On Friday, April 26, at around 12:18 p.m., a mail carrier called law enforcement after finding human remains on his route, according to Fort Dodge Police. Webster County deputies responded to the scene and found 55-year-old Dennis Jones deceased with a gunshot wound.

FORT DODGE, Iowa (KCCI) - A body with a gunshot wound was found in a Webster County ditch on Friday afternoon and now 2 Fort Dodge men are in custody, KCCI reported. The Fort Dodge men are in custody after a rural mail carrier reported a body found in a ditch in the 2100 mile of 280th Street. This information came from the Fort Dodge Police Department. Webster County Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the scene and identified the body as 55-year-old Dennis R. Jones from Fort Dodge.
