FORT DODGE, Iowa — A Fort Dodge man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for the May 2023 shooting death of 18-year-old Adrian D. Grover. Quanterious Leadeal Altman, 19, pleaded guilty last month to voluntary manslaughter while armed with a dangerous weapon, willful injury causing serious injury while armed with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Central Iowa man pleads guilty to dealing meth out of a hotel room
FORT DODGE, Iowa — A Fort Dodge man admitted in federal court to dealing methamphetamine out of a Fort Dodge hotel room in 2023. According to a release from the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Iowa, 34-year-old Jordan Todd Taylor pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. He was accused of distributing more than two pounds of meth out of a hotel room from August to September 2023.
