HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A foggy start to the morning will not ruin the day, temperatures are projected to reach into the high 80s for the afternoon highs. Sunscreen is a must over the next few days. Not only will we reach the high 80s today, but also for Tuesday and Wednesday. CHARLESTON – Steve Williams, the mayor of Huntington and the Democratic nominee for governor of West Virginia, stopped by the State Capitol Building Monday to drop off petitions for a constitutional amendment for reproductive rights. Autism Training Center names Marshall alumna as director of campus-based services

Collaboration Between WVSOM and Marshall University Will Allow Medical Students to Earn Dual D.O./MPH Degree
LEWISBURG, W.Va. — Students at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) will soon have the opportunity to earn a Master of Public Health degree (MPH) while completing their osteopathic medical education. WVSOM has entered into a partnership with Marshall University that will allow the medical school’s students to supplement their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree with an MPH degree through a program that lasts a total of five years.
