Construction to block parts of Waverly on Thursday

WAVERLY, N.Y. ( WETM ) — Waverly Police advise motorists to be aware of an upcoming road closure this week that could impact valley residents’ ride to work.

According to a post by police on Facebook, on Thursday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to noon, construction will be done at Leprino’s as the company works on a newer building.

Due to the construction, Fulton Street will have a limited traffic flow between the times listed above because heavy equipment will be in the roadway.

Police are asking drivers to seek an alternate route if possible to limit congestion.
