Clinton man identified in deadly house fire
CLINTON – Officials with the Sangamon County Coroner’s Office have identified a man involved in a structure fire last week in Clinton. Clinton Firefighters arrived at the scene of Brush College Road to a house engulfed in flames on Nov. 20 . First responders discovered a victim inside the residence, identified as 79 year old Lubertus Van Apeldoorn.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND)- A 21-year-old woman from Springfield who was killed in a crash on Thanksgiving Day has been identified. According to the Sangamon County Coroner, 21-year-old Jessica Walker was transported by EMS from the scene of the incident, near the intersection of Chatham Road and West Monroe Street in Springfield, to the emergency room at Springfield Memorial Hospital on Thanksgiving.
