    Softball: Warriors rock Fort behind Paulsen's power surge

    FORT ATKINSON -- Haiden Paulsen homered and drove in four runs as Waunakee beat host Fort Atkinson 18-7 in five innings in Badger Large softball on Wednesday.

    The Warriors scored four times in the first inning, including on a two-run double by Paulsen, who hit a two-run shot to left field in Waunakee's eight-run second.

    Zaria Hyman added four hits and Amanda Comins had three base knocks for the Warriors (3-9, 1-7 in conference).

    Kaylee Jordan went 2-for-2, scored twice and drove in a run while Macey Pease doubled for the Blackhawks (3-10, 1-6 in conference).
