Rutland Man Charged with Endangering Welfare of a Child

RUTLAND, N.Y. (WWTI) – A 33-year-old Rutland man was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Forcible Touch- Intimate Parts.

Mark W. Snyder was accused of attempting to forcibly touch the intimate parts of a minor on or about March 30, 2024, in the Town of Rutland.

On April 16 at approximately 11:30 a.m. in the town of Watertown, Snyder was arrested and charged with one count of Endangering Welfare of a Child and one count of Forcible Touch- Intimate Parts, both of which are Class A Misdemeanors.

Snyder is to appear in cap court on April 24 for both charges.
