Winning the rain lotto and possible dangerous heat this weekend
Panama City Fla. (WMBB) – Rain chances have been around but you had to be in the right spot. Most of us have been dry and hot hoping for a shower or storm. Thursday finally offers a shot at the rain lotto for most of the area. Rain chances will be 40-50% through the afternoon hours. Temps will still climb into the 90s for highs on Thursday. Friday and Saturday will both feature hot temps with high humidity. Inland area could flirt with 100 both days and will have feels like temps close to 108 or higher this could prompt heat advisories for the area. Sunday will bring a slightly better chance of rain and this should keep the temps a few degrees cooler it will still be hot. We will hold onto our typical rain chances for much of next week and if the high pressure to our north breaks a bit we could even see elevated rain chances. Temps will remain very warm with little breaks in the humidity expected.
