Shooting of teen brings father’s cold case back into spotlight
GREENWOOD, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The deadly shooting of an Upstate teen brings his father’s cold case back into the spotlight. On Saturday, May 10, 17-year-old Calvin Lamont Parker Jr. was shot and killed at the Ware Shoals Dragway. His death comes 17 years after his father, 30-year-old Calvin Lamont Parker Sr., was murdered in 2006 just days before he was born.
