Mississippi State baseball score updates vs Ole Miss: Bulldogs vs Rebels in Governor's Cup
PEARL ― Mississippi State baseball and Ole Miss will each be out to score a rivalry midweek win when they meet at Trustmark Park in the Governor's Cup on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs (29-15, 12-9 SEC) will be looking to sustain the momentum they earned with a big series win at Vanderbilt over the weekend. The Rebels (23-20, 7-14) will hope to bounce back after dropping two out of three games to Alabama at Swayze Field.
Ole Miss Softball wins final home series of the year against Auburn
Game one (lost 1-2) The Rebels dropped the series opener, which caused them to fall to 3-16 in conference play. Ole Miss scored first in the bottom of the third inning off a bases-loaded walk to Jaden Pone. Auburn right fielder Icess Tresvik hit a solo homer three innings later to tie it up.
