TOWN OF WARSAW, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Batavia man wanted on a felony warrant out of Kansas was found during a traffic stop on Route 20A in Warsaw over the weekend, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s office announced.

Authorities said they stopped the vehicle on Saturday morning. Its passenger, Vinayak Graves, 20, was wanted for alleged identity theft.

Graves, a former resident of the state where he was being sought, was arraigned in Warsaw Town Court and held in Wyoming County Jail without bail.

The Sheriff’s office said he’ll remain in custody until he’s extradited to Kansas.
