WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—While shoplifting arrests from stores along the Route 611 corridor in Warrington aren’t exactly news, a spate of retail theft has targeted large—and expensive—items.

On April 30 , for example, a 50-year-old man was charged with stealing a 75” television from the Walmart valued at nearly $700. Police said that the suspect in the case, Sean Thomas Beluch of Warminster, had a preliminary hearing for another theft that same day. The police said that Beluch left the courthouse and went to Walmart to allegedly take the TV.

Beluch was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. A criminal complaint was filed in district court.

On May 2 , Amber Brooke Rava, 33, was arrested after allegedly walking out of the Target without paying for a Dyson vacuum cleaner. Police said that the vacuum, which was worth $570, wasn’t the first thing that Rava, who is from Philadelphia, is accused of trying to steal from the store. Target staff said that Rava had previously walked into the same Target, taken an item off the shelf and tried to return it for a refund.

Rava was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking. She was taken to the police station, processed and released. A complaint was filed in district court.

Finally, back in January , two men were able to steal more than $1,100 of merchandise from Ulta Beauty in The Shops at Valley Square in about three minutes. One of the two men was identified as 21-year-old Wellington Santos Gonzalez.
