Gearhart to raise water rates
GEARHART — The City Council has approved a 10% increase in water rates for the upcoming fiscal year. Last year, a 15% increase was approved in order to keep 90 days of operating funds in reserve at the recommendation of a consultant.

In total, 76 residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $550,144. The average price per square foot ended up at $309.
