STRUTHERS, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren JFK baseball extends its win streak to 11 games with a 6-2 win over Ursuline at Cene Park on Friday evening.

With a 2-0 lead already, Santino Ciambotti laced an RBI triple to score Jaden Rishel, before Michael Condoleon plated another with a single up the middle the next batter.

Dom Ryan, Michael Bartoe and Caleb Hadley also scored runs, with Andrew LaPolla knocking one in and Bartoe collecting two RBI.

Ursuline would get two back the next inning with an RBI groundout from Luke Kollar before Owen Urbach drove in another with a sacrifice fly. Anthony Triveri tossed all 7 innings for the Irish striking out 5 and giving up 3 earned runs.

But Taggart Carfangia dazzled on the mound for the Eagles tossing 6.1 innings and striking out 6 batters while giving up just 1 earned run.

Ursuline falls to 10-9 after the setback and is scheduled to get back in action Monday against Austintown Fitch.

With the win, JFK improves to 14-4 overall and will look to continue the 11 game win streak on Saturday morning against Heartland Christian.
