WARREN, Ark. – Providing hope and healing to people struggling with addiction is the mission of a new recovery center in Warren. New Beginnings opened its brand-new in-patient recovery center this week.

The recovery center has grown over the years starting with just outpatient services, and now has in-patient services.

The center will help those on their journey to recovery find their first steps forward in a safe environment.

Nicole Haynes lost her sister to a fentanyl overdose in 2021. Her mother started New Beginnings Center for Alcohol and Substance Abuse treatment in the early 2000s.

Haynes says this was her sister’s dream.

“She wanted to help everyone even though she battled her own demons,” Haynes said, “After she was turned down from admission, she would say I want to start my own rehabilitation center.”

“Turning pain into purpose after her death really helped in the grieving purpose,” Haynes said.

Interim Executive Director Holley Curry said they offer a variety of services.

“We offer behavioral health services, substance abuse services, groups, weekly individual sessions,” Curry said, “We also have medication-assisted treatment.”

The center can house 32 women and 32 men. Curry says they accept all insurances and turn no one away as well as help write grants to cover treatment costs.

“If you’re struggling, make the call, we’re here to help,” Curry said.

Haynes says everyone can’t wait to see the success stories that come out of new beginnings.

“It’s my sister’s dream coming true through our family and what we can do for others in this situation,” Haynes said.
