New Bedford High School to cut ribbon on new athletic field
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — New Bedford High School will celebrate the opening of their new athletic field Tuesday, April 30 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell, New Bedford Public Schools Superintendent Andrew O’Leary and members of the New Bedford High School community will be on hand for the ceremony.
Youth baseball holds opening day
Wareham Youth Baseball will hold its opening day Saturday, April 27. The annual parade will begin at 10 a.m. Players will need to be dropped off at the old Tremont Nail Factory between 9 and 9:30 a.m., and roads will be blocked off about 10 to 15 minutes before the parade. Parking will be located only at the complex on Charge Pond Road for the day.
