Temple man arrested after allegedly breaking into home and assaulting resident
TEMPLE, Okla. (KSWO) - A Temple man is behind bars after authorities say he damaged a vehicle, broke into a home and assaulted a resident. David Pennington was arrested on Sept. 20 after the Cotton County Sheriff’s Department received a disturbance call from a home on East Idaho Street in Temple.
Duncan man leads police on chase while intoxicated, authorities say
DUNCAN, Okla. (KSWO) - In Stephens County, a Duncan man faces five felony counts and 22 years in prison following a wild police chase early Sunday morning. Court documents allege that 28-year-old Michael Newman took a relative’s car without permission while intoxicated and then led officers on an extensive chase through Duncan.

Dante Stevens says he had taken his uncle to hear elk bugling at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. A frequent visitor, he says they never would have gotten close to a bull on purpose. The two had paused to talk by a fence when they heard an approaching truck.
