Berkeley Law launches Chris Larsen Fellowship for public interest
UC Berkeley School of Law’s Criminal Law and Justice Center recently launched a fellowship for public interest work: the Christian Larsen Justice Fellowship. The fellowship, now in its first year, is designed to support recent graduates of Berkeley Law who are interested in public interest careers — specifically in criminal justice and public safety. This year, the fellowship was able to fund four class of 2024 graduates for the full year, according to Criminal Law and Justice Center Executive Director Chesa Boudin. While each fellow will be moving in different directions in the public sector, he explained that their host organizations are all tied to public safety and criminal justice.
