18-Hole League

The 2024 season of the Tianna Ladies 18-hole league kicked off May 2 with nine members playing. The day started with temperatures in the upper 40s and a periodic sprinkle of rain.

After nine holes, three members decided it was just too cold and called it a day!

The game was “low putts.” First place went to Bonnie Franke with 32 putts. Second place went to Carol Doschadis with 35 putts. Third place was shared by Joyce Schuette and Kathy Hoffman with 36 putts.

We didn’t exactly bur n up the course! However three did chip in to share a small pot. Both Joyce Rief and Joyce Schuette chipped in on hole 6 and Kathy Hoffman chipped in on hole 18.

Next Thursday, May 9, the game is “Lucky 13.” Hope to see more snowbirds and warmer weather.
