NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The state is asking a judge to modify the conditions of release for a man accused of drunk driving leading to the death of three people in Wagon Mound two years ago. According to the criminal complaint, Jesse Blanco crashed into a car pulling out of a driveway killing Irene Romero , nine-year-old Daniela Lopez, and four-year-old Annalise Romero.

After his arrest, Blanco blew more than twice the legal limit. He was put on house arrest as part of his conditions of release but the state says he has been leaving his home to attend college classes violating his release orders. They’re asking for a hearing to discuss whether or not he should be locked up through trial for the violation.
