House destroyed by fire in Fayette County, occupants escape unharmed
A house in West Point was destroyed in a fire on Friday morning, but the occupants managed to escape without injury, according to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Keith Korenek said his office received a 911 call around 11:30 a.m. reporting a structure fire on Justice Road off State Highway 71. The LaGrange Fire Department responded to the scene, along with a Fayette County deputy and EMS unit.
