It's baby goat season in Virginia, and that means there are baby goats that need to be snuggled.

Why it matters: Kids (the real, boring word for baby goats) are born around late February in Virginia, and just like their human counterparts, they need hugs and interaction to thrive.

Caromont Farm , a cheese farm just outside of Charlottesville, has turned goat snuggling into an early spring tradition for scores of Virginians.

How it works: Goat snuggles are $15 for 30 minutes per person.

If you can't make the road trip west, no worries. Maymont just welcomed its own trio of kids — Bunny, Berry and Birdy — and they'll be on view beginning this weekend. You can't snuggle these, but you can pet and feed them.
