Big Creek brings on tennis pro Nabillah Dunn for summer coaching
Big Creek Golf & Country Club is welcoming new tennis professional Nabillah Dunn to their lineup. The tennis pro starts June 3 and will be with the golf course all Summer. Dunn is from Houston and is a member of the tennis team at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. She has a 7.5 UTR Tennis Rating and a 4.5 National Tennis Rating Program rating.

Dora High School student Natasha Slavik was named one of the top 20 artists in the Missouri Congressional Art Competition for her striking black and white works. She was also the best in show winner in the Dora School art show with her piece titled “Eye of the Tiger,” and first place for her drawing of a zebra (below, center). Because she was a winner in the statewide art show, Slavik was invited by Congressman Jason Smith to attend an exclusive art reception at the Missouri State Capitol May 2. Her piece was honored as one of the top three pieces at the state show.

In a first for Highland High School, Freshman Amara Miles’ art piece “Flowers for You” will hang in the United States Congressional Building in Washington D.C. after winning Congressman Rick Crawford’s competition.
