VERDIGRIS, Okla. – A newly-released body camera video shows country music artist Zach Bryan during a traffic stop in Verdigris days before his arrest in Craig County.  

FAIRLAND – A Fairland man remains hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Billy Williams, 76, of Fairland, was driving a 2019 Honda Odyssey when the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported he struck Cody McDaniel, 31, of Fairland, who was standing in the roadway next to a vehicle, the patrol said.

A Claremore man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Mayes County. The fatality collision happened late Saturday just before midnight on East 420 Road about a mile east of Strang. A 2007 Harley Davidson FLTR, driven by 43-year-old Allen Michael Vargas failed to negotiate a curve to the right, left the roadway and hit the ground.

This week in Vinita, Oklahoma, two incidents occurred that raised concerns for public safety.
